Arsenal have had a ridiculous number of injuries since the start of the 2024/25 season.
The Gunners, in many people’s eyes, were the favourites to win the Premier League title last term, but injuries to key Arsenal players ruined their chances.
Mikel Arteta hasn’t had much luck this season either. The likes of Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka and William Saliba have all had fitness issues.
One of the above is still not at his peak level, but he is still playing for club and country – Saka.

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka says he is not 100 per cent fit yet
Saka had an injury-hit 2024/25 campaign.
The ‘incredible‘ England international was flying in the Premier League, but a serious hamstring injury that required surgery ruled him out of action for three months.
The Arsenal number seven returned for the final months of the season and then started this campaign strongly as well. But another hamstring injury pushed him to the sidelines.
Saka is back and has been playing for both Arsenal and England. However, the attacker has revealed that he is not at his sharpest level just yet
After scoring a record-breaking screamer for England against Wales, Saka said, as per HaytersTV: “I started this season by picking up an injury which kind of killed me a bit, but I’m starting to feel good again.
“I’m still not at my sharpest, but I’m starting to feel good again, and I’ve scored in the last three games, so I’m happy with that and want to continue like that.”
Arsenal can beat any side if they keep Bukayo Saka fit
Saka is Arsenal’s most important player.
The 24-year-old has carried the club over the years and has consistently been brilliant. When he has a good game, the Gunners usually come away with a win.
Arsenal need to keep Saka fit for the rest of this season.
Arteta has often made the mistake of overplaying his right-winger, but with Noni Madueke at the club and Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman also capable of playing on the right wing, he can rest Saka.
That should keep him away from injuries this season.
