Tottenham Hotspur star James Maddison believes Declan Rice’s shooting stats cannot be high because the Arsenal man just doesn’t shoot enough.
The two England boys, along with Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford, played a quick game of guessing their teammates’ EA Sports FC 24 stats on England’s official YouTube channel.
Here’s what Maddison said about Rice.

Tottenham’s James Maddison says Arsenal star Declan Rice does not shoot enough
Arsenal star Declan Rice is one of the best midfielders in the world.
Why Pele Is Overrated.
The Englishman has been absolutely amazing for club and country over the years, and his Gunners career has started off brilliantly as well.
One of the criticisms around Rice, however, especially from Graeme Souness, is that he doesn’t score enough goals.

That’s probably because he doesn’t shoot enough, and Maddison believes that’s why his shooting stats on FC 24 cannot be high.
While trying to guess a player with 76 shooting, Maddison immediately claimed it won’t be Rice because he doesn’t shoot that often.
He said: “I don’t think high shooting, just because you don’t shoot that much.
“His little far-post whips are a joke. But he doesn’t shoot that much, do you know what I mean?”
The Insider’s View:
Yes, an argument can be made that Declan Rice doesn’t shoot enough, but it’s not really his job, is it?
As a defensive midfielder, the Englishman’s primary focus is to progress play forward while making sure the backline is protected.
Rice does that better than most others in the world, but if he can add more goals to his game, which he is completely capable of, he will become a much more complete midfielder.
We’re sure Mikel Arteta is working on that at London Colney as we speak.
