Now, after seeing City drop points, Carragher reckons the team must feed off the energy from the crowd, who will be buzzing after Monday’s result.

“From an Arsenal point of view, tonight’s all about the league. I get that. But I think that tomorrow, can you imagine that stadium tomorrow?” Carragher told Sky Sports.

“The excitement, yes, it’s in a different competition, but the excitement from Arsenal fans, the energy that’ll be in that stadium.

The former Premier League defender thinks that next Sunday’s clash at the London Stadium away at West Ham could be what decides the title.

Carragher added: “But if Arsenal win that game away next Sunday, they’ve won the league.”

West Ham will be fighting tooth and nail to win that game as they look to stay in the Premier League, which could make things awkward for Arsenal.
