Jamie Carragher is worried Arsenal might be feeling the pressure
Jamie Carragher has revealed that he has a ‘big worry’ that people inside the club at Arsenal might be starting to feel the pressure.
The former Premier League defender revealed that he has been speaking to Arsenal fans about the season potentially starting to unravel.
Carragher told CBS Sports: “There will be a real fear from Arsenal supporters. As I found out today when I spoke to somebody at the bank. I cancelled a couple of direct debits.
“But he then asked me, ‘Can I ask you a question?’ And straight away I knew he’s an Arsenal fan. I went, ‘You’re an Arsenal fan, aren’t you?’ He went, ‘Yeah.’
“No other fan would do that because the fear with Arsenal fans right now is that everything’s going to fall apart.
“I felt like I was a psychiatrist this morning. I was giving almost encouragement, having to counsel him to feel like everybody else now for Arsenal, which is understandable.
The North London club are still in a strong position in the Premier League and Champions League, but there is still plenty of work to be done.

Over the international break, the Gunners had 11 players return early, and Carragher thinks this is the club really worrying about losing key players.
“The big worry is whether they are like that inside the club right now, and the fact brought 11 players back from international duty,” he added.
“I’ve never heard of that in my life tells me there is a real fear right through the inside of the club that they could blow this.”
Over the next fortnight, the lay of the land in the Premier League should become very clear, with the Gunners facing Bournemouth and then the big one against City.
