Arsenal suffered a 4-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad last night, and Jamie Carragher noticed something about Rob Holding and Gabriel Magalhaes.
The Gunners looked nothing like their usual self yesterday. It was our biggest game of the season and we expected everyone to turn up, but unfortunately, it was the opposite.
A brace from Kevin De Bruyne and goals from John Stones and Erling Haaland sealed the game for Manchester City. Holding and Gabriel had an evening to forget.

Jamie Carragher criticises Rob Holding and Gabriel Magalhaes during Man City vs Arsenal
Arsenal started the game terribly last night.
A mistake from Rob Holding allowed Haaland to bring the ball down and feed it to De Bruyne, who smashed it past Aaron Ramsdale from distance.
Things went from bad to worse just before half-time as Stones doubled City’s lead. That all but ended the game for us. De Bruyne and Haaland combined again for the third goal, before the latter sealed the win with a fourth at the end.
Haaland was a menace last night, and Carragher felt both our centre-halves, Gabriel and Holding, were afraid of him.
He tweeted: “The Arsenal centre-backs are terrified of Haaland! (So would I be!)”
The Insider’s View:
Manchester City are now just two points behind Arsenal and the defending champions have two games in hand over us. That makes them the absolute favourites to win the title.
It really is a shame that things have got to this stage for Arsenal. Wins in our last three games would’ve put us in a really comfortable position, but dropping those six points put us under pressure.
That showed last night, and City were comfortably the better team and completely deserved to win the game.
Holding and Gabriel won’t want to look back at that, but they have to dust themselves off and get back to their best when we host Chelsea next week.
