It’s Leeds United vs Arsenal in the Premier League at Elland Road tomorrow and here’s our predicted XI for the game.
Mikel Arteta made plenty of changes for our midweek clash against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League. We expect four of those players to keep their place in the side for the game tomorrow.
Predicted Arsenal XI vs Leeds
Leeds have been really poor recently.
They’ve won just three of their last five Premier League games, but they are still a dangerous side at Elland Road. We’ll have to be at our best to keep our place at the top of the table.
Aaron Ramsdale was given a breather midweek, but he’ll come straight back into the side. Ben White and William Saliba both started in Norway and we expect them to play again tomorrow, with Gabriel Magalhaes coming back as well.
The big decision for Arteta is at left-back. Kieran Tierney was dropped last week for Takehiro Tomiyasu. The Scotsman played against Bodo/Glimt midweek, which suggests that the Japan international may return to the side at left-back tomorrow.
The rest of our team is fairly easy to predict.
Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka will start in the middle of the park. The two have been incredible for us this season, and if they have a good game, we’ll likely come away with a victory.
Gabriel Martinelli has been in fine form and he’ll start on the left while our midweek goalscorer, Bukayo Saka, will start on the opposite side. Skipper Martin Odegaard didn’t have a great game on Thursday, but he”ll still keep his place.
Gabriel Jesus was a big doubt for the game tomorrow, but Goal report that he’s expected to be fit again. He’ll lead our line and will be hoping to get back on the score sheet after missing out last week.
