Arsenal went six points clear at the top of the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Fulham and Joe Hart has spoken out on how Man City will now be feeling.

City now have to play catch up and it’s on them to get the wins on the board to eat into Arsenal’s lead.

Of course, City have been here before and they still hold the cards if they win and outscore the Gunners.

Indeed, according to Joe Hart, City will simply be taking things as business as usual.

Joe Hart claims Man City will enjoy chasing Arsenal in the title race

Joe Hart knows a thing or two about winning with Man City, albeit he was replaced quite early on by Pep Guardiola.

Asked how Man City will be feeling, Hart added that nothing will change for Pep Guardiola’s side.

“They’ve only got one mindset. They’re chasing. They got to enjoy the chase. They’ve got to enjoy the chase up until the whistle goes, and then they’ve just got to execute a plan. It’s an interesting mindset as there will be a buzz in [City] training tomorrow. 100% will be a buzz.”

Going on to comment about Arsenal’s performance against Fulham, Hart admitted he was impressed.

“That was a great performance, really solid. They took chances early, looked like they wanted more, looked like they wanted to kill the game in the first half – then they could think about Tuesday. So credit to them,” Hart said on BBC Sport.

“It’s not difficult to shake off a midweek game in the middle of a title race. You live each game when you’re at the top, like Arsenal are. There’s no better feeling. Absolutely no better feeling. So taking care of business in each game is really easy.”

With a huge few weeks to come for the Gunners, they are now dependent on getting a favour from one of their Premier League rivals.

Man City face Everton away on Monday in what could be the biggest test for them to end the season.

Arsenal will be hoping that David Moyes has being a title spoiler in mind.
