Arsenal will start the 2026/27 season as the favourites to win the Premier League title.
Mikel Arteta’s side won the English top-flight after 22 years last month, and they completely deserve the title of champions.
With Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool all having new managers, Manchester United having to deal with Champions League football, and Tottenham being Tottenham, Arsenal are comfortably the favourites to retain their crown.
John Terry is already worried it will happen, but if Arsenal make one signing, he thinks this could be the start of a dynasty in English football.

John Terry shares how Arsenal could win the next two or three Premier League titles
Arsenal are already the best team in the Premier League.
The Gunners have a very complete squad capable of beating any side, but Arteta and Andrea Berta will try to strengthen heavily again.
Terry, who knows what it takes to win back-to-back league titles, believes Arsenal could go on to win multiple English crowns in the coming years.
However, in order to do that, he feels Arteta’s side will need to sign a striker who will score between 25 and 30 goals every season.
If that happens, Terry thinks the next Premier League titles will head to the Emirates Stadium.
He said on talkSPORT: “Yeah, I do actually (think Arsenal will retain the title). I think Arsenal… it’s theirs to lose for the next couple of years.
“I think they’ve got a really good squad of players. In terms of their squad, I think they’re missing an out-and-out striker that’s going to get in 20, 30 goals a season consistently.
“Look at the top sides over the last 20 years in the Premier League, they’ve all had it. Arsenal haven’t really got that.
“I think they’re one or two signings away from dominating the Premier League for the next two or three years, unfortunately.”
Imagine you are Andrea Berta. Who is your top target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window?
Arsenal should sign a new striker but not instead of Viktor Gyokeres
Arsenal fans will all agree that their side could do with a new striker, but that doesn’t mean Viktor Gyokeres must be sold.
The Gunners are almost guaranteed to part ways with Gabriel Jesus, so there will already be room for another centre-forward.
If Arsenal sign a replacement – potentially someone like Julian Alvarez – he should be in addition to Gyokeres and not as a replacement for him.
The Swede showed his worth by scoring over 20 goals in his debut season. He showed serious improvement in the second half of the season as well.
We think Arsenal will dominate the league for years to come if they keep hold of Gyokeres and sign another top forward along with him.
