CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs has added more fuel to the fire in Arsenal’s quest to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk, with the reporter saying that the attacker wouldn’t say no to a move to north London.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Jacobs said that the Ukrainian international is impressed with the Arsenal project as well as Mikel Arteta, with Mudryk also having conversations with international teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko ahead of a potential move to the Gunners.
As per the feature, Shakhtar Donetsk value the winger at £85m, a club-record fee for Arsenal. Though recent reports from the Mirror suggest that a bid of £40m could actually be enough for the Premier League leaders to sign Mudryk in January.
A wide-attacker is on the top of Arsenal’s transfer list for the winter window, and it appears that Mudryk will be that player for Arsenal, with Arteta linked with the 21-year-old in the summer. However, as we know, no deal ever materialised.

Things seem to have changed this time around, though. And according to Jacobs, a deal to get Mudryk to north London now feels like a very strong possibility, with the winger the perfect signing for the Gunners in the January transfer window.
Jacobs said: “He said that many times including directly to me in an interview that I did about two months ago, he said he can’t say no to Arsenal. He’s spoken directly with Zinchenko his countryman, he’s very impressed by Mikel Arteta and the style that the team play.”
Insider’s View: Arsenal must do all they can to sign Mudry in January

Everton associated with Arsenal from the fans all the way to the board know that something special is brewing this season, and Arteta adding in January could launch the Gunners on the path to winning the Premier League title, which is what makes signing Mudryk such an important mission.
