Jurrien Timber believes one Arsenal star has an incredible mentality.
The Gunners have assembled an outstanding squad in recent years, bolstered significantly by the eight arrivals in North London this summer.
Andrea Berta spent £250 million on these eight players, drastically improving the depth of Mikel Arteta’s ensemble.
However, it’s not only the technical and physical quality that makes many of those at Arsenal exceptional, but also the increasingly resilient and psychologically strong core that is growing within the club.

To win titles, you need a squad that has the mental fortitude to deal with the highs and lows that come along the way.
Arteta clearly knows this, acquiring players with strong mindsets and ensuring those developing through the academy boast these soft skills.
Myles Lewis-Skelly is a prime example of this, with the 18-year-old’s outstanding temperament and composure setting him apart from most players his age.
Asked by the Arsenal media team who has the ‘GOATED mentality’ in football, Timber cited Lewis-Skelly.
“Goated mentality? Myles Lewis-Skelly,” the Dutchman responded affirmatively.
Lewis-Skelly was incorrectly sent off last season against Wolves, and was subsequently subject to some harsh treatment from fans and in the media.
However, rather than letting this affect his confidence, the starlet responded to this adversity by producing consistently excellent displays, starring in Arsenal’s run to the Champions League semi-final.
Lewis-Skelly has been described as ‘unbelievable’, and this is no doubt in reference to his character as much as it is his footballing ability.

As well as possessing a squad with strong character and a lot of talent, Arsenal have some players renowned for their goal celebrations.
Viktor Gyokeres’ mask celebration has been well documented recently, while Leandro Trossard’s goggles and Gabriel Jesus’ phone call are also noteworthy.
However, Timber revealed his favourite celebration in the Arsenal squad belongs to Bukayo Saka.
“Goated celebration? I like Bukayo’s one, you know?” he said.
“That one [puts hands up in nonchalant gesture]. But he also has this one, I like that one as well.”
