Now, speaking to Footebate on TikTok, Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has named another Arsenal star as his toughest ever opponent.

A number of Chelsea players were asked to name who has been their toughest opponent in their career so far.

Inevitably, the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Kevin De Bruyne got numerous mentions as two of the best players in the Premier League.

However, when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was asked the same question, he gave an intriguing answer.

The Chelsea midfielder actually named Martin Odegaard as his toughest ever opponent, stating that the £30m man really gave him the runaround earlier in his career.

Dewsbury-Hall says he’s always had a tough time against Odegaard, and the numbers back this up.

Indeed, the English midfielder has actually never won a single game against Odegaard in his career.

In fact, on all four occasions that these two players have met, Odegaard has been on the winning side every single time.

Dewsbury-Hall was mystified by Odegaard earlier in his career, and back in 2022, Odegaard had an absolute field day against Leicester as the stats show.

Sadly, Dewsbury-Hall isn’t getting much of a game for Chelsea these days, but, who knows? With Arsenal having a real knack of signing Chelsea players in recent years, perhaps the former Leicester City man could end up at the Emirates one day.
