Koscielny to start

It looks like Laurent Koscielny will be fit to start against Tottenham today after he was pictured in training. It will be good news for the Arsenal faithful who have seen the team struggle without the Frenchman in defence.
Another player who should start will be Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who has recovered from his knock and should line up at wing back if Arsenal continue with the new formation of three at the back.
Another surprise trainer is Lucas Perez who has also trained with the first team after being out since March with a thigh muscle strain, whether Perez will make the bench remains to be seen, it could be a little too early for the forward. Perez has recently stated that he will stay and fight for his place after admitting that he took some time to adapt to his new surroundings and the pace of the English game.

Ox’s best position

Manager Arsene Wenger still thinks Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain best position will be in centre midfield although he has the qualities to play well at wing back. Wenger added that Oxlade-Chamberlain playing at wing back will help his development into finally playing in the centre of midfield.

Murillo wanted

Arsenal are interested in Jeison Murillo from Inter Milan according to reports. Manager Arsene Wenger is looking at strengthening the back line after switching the three at the back and sees the 24-year-old as a potential suitor.

Or Van Dijk

Arsenal are apparently ahead of the queue to sign Southampton centre-back Virgil van Dijk this summer according to reports. The Dutchman is valued in the region of £50m and has been in excellent form for the Saints. The 25-year-old is one of the most coveted players in the Premier League this season and has interested Manchester City and Liverpool. Van Dijk will have some decisions to make come the end of the season.

Players to fight

Arsene Wenger has claimed the Arsenal players will prove how much they care against Tottenham in the massive north London derby match today. Wenger said the team will fight and be 100% committed.
The team need to show the fans that they want to play for the shirt and there is no better way to do it than a win against your rivals. A win and a massive dent in Tottenham’s title challenge will do nicely today.
