Arsenal are preparing for a busy start to July as several transfers are currently lined up for completion.

Andrea Berta has been working hard to get players in for pre-season, with training starting up once again next week.

Mikel Arteta will have his stars working towards full fitness, with a tour of Asia just around the corner.

So, with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal news ahead of another busy day of action.

Eberechi Eze’s transfer impact for Arsenal

Arsenal are stepping up their interest in Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze this summer, as enquiries have been made over a move.

The Athletic claims that the forward is among the top options at the club, but will be an option separate from the pursuit of a left winger and a striker.

It’s a move that could have a serious impact on the squad, well beyond just the positions that Eze is capable of playing.

Andrea Berta to delay striker transfer decision

Andrea Berta could be set to delay his striker transfer decision until pre-season, with Arsenal yet to make a firm decision on which centre-forward to pursue.

That’s according to Football London, which claims that the sporting director could enter the coming tour without a forward, even though it is his aim to land one.

It could be something that would frustrate supporters and the backroom staff, as preparations for the new season would be better off with the new striker in place.

Ethan Nwaneri’s position made clear with Eberechi Eze deal

Ethan Nwaneri could be set for a clear role in the Arsenal side after the potential arrival of Eberechi Eze at the club.

The Crystal Palace forward is comfortable playing on the left wing or as an attacking playmaker, something that will have a huge impact on the rest of the squad.

That could result in a shuffle for Ethan Nwaneri, who may be forced to play more as a right-wing option in the future.

That is despite the youngster revealing that he is largely a midfielder, having played there in the academy ranks.
