The international break enters its second week as players around the world start to bring their trips abroad to an end.

For Arsenal, several players have already completed their two matches, with plenty of UEFA Nations League action playing out on Sunday evening.

Elsewhere, other players will be in action over the next couple of days before the Gunners return for Premier League action next week.

So with that said, here’s a look at the biggest Arsenal news ahead of another busy day.

Gabriel Magalhaes makes early Arsenal return

Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes has made an early return to the club over the international break from his trip with Brazil.

The star centre-back picked up a booking in the Selecao’s late win over Colombia in World Cup qualification action, resulting in a suspension.

Gabriel will miss his side’s clash with Argentina, leading to an early exit from Brazil and an early return to Arsenal.

David Ornstein gives Max Dowman future update

Arsenal youngster Max Dowman is already showing plenty of potential, with the Hale End academy star being tipped for big things.

That has naturally come with interest elsewhere, with rival clubs seemingly looking at a potential swoop for the 15-year-old in the near future.

While he can’t sign a new deal yet, David Ornstein of The Athletic revealed that work is being done to convince the player of a move.

He stated: “I guess it’s down to Arsenal to do enough to convince him to sign, and obviously we might not know if they’ve succeeded in that until late 2025 or early 2026.

“Given he has come through there and is an Arsenal fan, they appear to be in a strong position. But considering most big clubs would love to sign him, Arsenal will need to prove their pathway and plans are right for him.”

He told the press: “We have so many good left-backs in the country.

“We can’t not mention Lewis Hall, who’s been unbelievable for Newcastle this year. [Luke] Shaw has been injured but he’s been unbelievable in an England shirt.

“No one is guaranteed a starting place in the England team. You need to be on it every time you come here.”
