It will then mark the end of a long season for most of the Arsenal squad and batteries can be recharged ahead of a crucial campaign.

So, with that said, here’s a look at all the latest Arsenal news ahead of another big day.

Gabriel Magalhaes signs new Arsenal contract

Gabriel Magalhaes has officially signed his new long-term Arsenal contract to commit his future at the Emirates Stadium.

The length of the contract is believed to be four years, meaning the Brazilian defender will spend his peak years in a Gunners shirt.

Arsenal fans are delighted with Gabriel and are now hoping that the likes of William Saliba and Bukayo Saka follow suit.

Gabriel told Arsenal’s official website: “I’m so proud of myself, it’s an amazing journey, and I’m so happy to continue it. I hope I win some trophies with this club, because I love this club and my family loves the club, too.”

France fans miss William Saliba during Spain defeat

France succumbed to a 5-4 defeat in their UEFA Nations League semi-final clash with Spain and the absence of William Saliba has cost them.

The Arsenal defender missed the clash with a hamstring injury that caused him to also not feature in the last Premier League game of the season at Southampton.

One France fan claimed: “Saliba would’ve had Lamine Yamal in his pocket. I’ve no doubt about my guy.”

Whilst another fan stated: “Saliba starts, we win the match. I’m not saying clean sheet, but we would’ve won.”

Ray Parlour defends Gabriel Martinelli amid Rodrygo interest

Ray Parlour has discussed the prospect of Rodrygo joining the Gunners this summer but believes that Gabriel Martinelli is worth sticking with on the left flank.

Parlour stated: “I like Martinelli, I know he has been a little bit indifferent last season but towards the end he really started playing didn’t he and I like him, he’s a good character. So I would stick with Martinelli.”

The former midfielder went on to state that he would prefer the club to sign Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers instead this summer given his incredible season.
