Arsenal failed to find the back of the net for successive Premier League games to surely put an end to any hopes of winning the Premier League title.
Jorginho impressed in the Arsenal player ratings but there was another disappointing showing from the captain Martin Odegaard, who failed to inspire his team yet again.
Riccardo Calafiori ‘baffled’ fans with his first half position after appearing to play as an auxiliary striker instead of Mikel Merino at times.
Arsenal huffed and puffed but simply didn’t have the firepower to break through a stubborn Nottingham Forest defence, after the game Leandro Trossard gave his view on his side’s struggles.

Leandro Trossard shares verdict on Arsenal’s lack of goals
Speaking to TNT Sports post-match coverage of Nottingham Forest v Arsenal, Trossard gave his view on the Gunners misfiring strike force.
Trossard stated: “We know that with the players out we have to find solutions and that’s up to everyone, the staff and the players as well.”
Looking ahead to a huge clash in the Champions League with PSV, Trossard is confident that his side will find their attacking threat once again.
Trossard explained: “Today we played quite well, we were dominant, we had a lot of possession and then it’s about scoring goals and hopefully it will click soon and goals will come.”
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli not on the verge of injury comeback
Mikel Arteta gave an update on Saka and Martinelli after the game and unfortunately it is not the news that Gunners fans would have wanted to hear.
The injured duo will not be back before the international break, meaning that Arsenal will miss the pair for that crunch tie in the last-16 of Europe.

It means that Arteta will have to go back to the drawing board in terms of finding a way for his side to carry a threat in front of goal.
Should Arsenal manage to scrape through against PSV, they would face a tough test against one of the Madrid teams but Saka and Martinelli should be back if they progress.
