Arsenal have recorded back-to-back wins in the Premier League, with the Gunners edging Brighton at the Amex Stadium last night.
Mikel Arteta’s side followed up their brilliant 3-1 win over Chelsea with a 1-0 victory over the Seagulls to end the year on a high.

All of a sudden there is new-found belief amongst supporters, who have watched their team really struggle so far this season.
Against Brighton it was not the greatest performance, but at the moment results are all that matter.
It was Alexandre Lacazette who struck the winner after brilliant work from Bukayo Saka.
Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli also impressed, but it was another off day for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 31-year-old was on the periphery for most of the match, and one can’t help but think about what Lee Dixon said before the game.
He said on talkSPORT: “It might just do him [Aubameyang] a bit of good to have a little step out of the team and just look from the sidelines.
“When you watch a game from the sidelines you can sometimes learn more than you do when you’re on the pitch.”
Could Arteta do the unthinkable?
He did score the other day against Southampton, but Aubameyang is generally really struggling at the moment, and one wonders if he does need a short stint on the bench just to reset.

Arteta has never given the impression he’d be afraid to make bold calls, and it would be the boldest of all to start leaving 51-cap Gabon star Aubameyang out.
But the likes of Martinelli, Lacazette, Smith Rowe and Saka are all looking hungry right now.
It might just be something that suits all parties just at this moment in time.
