Wojciech Szczęsny – Roma
Unfortunately, Szczesny couldn’t keep a clean sheet as he was on the end of a 3-1 loss to Lazio. This result leaves Roma in second place but Napoli are now 1 point behind them.
Krystian Bielik – Birmingham City
With Harry Redknapp taking charge of his second game as Birmingham boss 19-year-old Krystian Bielik was an unused substitute again in their 2-0 win against Huddersfield in the Championship.
Takuma Asano – VfB Stuttgart
This weekend was pretty quiet again for Asano despite his team coming from 2 goals down to beat Nuernberg 3-2. The Japanese forward started the game but was brought off at half-time when Stuttgart were still 2-0 down.
Gedion Zelalem – VVV-Venlo
Like Asano, Zelalem only featured this weekend for 45 minutes as VVV-Venlo lost 4-1 at home to Ajax’s reserve team ‘Jong Ajax’ in the Eerste Divisie where Zelalem’s side remain 4 points clear at the top of the league.
Calum Chambers – Middlesbrough
The centre back played 90 minutes and scored quite a scrappy goal to put Boro 2-1 up against Manchester City on Sunday but couldn’t stop Gabriel Jesus equalising late on. The draw leaves Boro 6 points off safety with 3 games of the season to go.
Ismael Bennacer – Tours
Bennacer completed 90 minutes in Tours’ 3-0 win against Clermont Foot in Ligue 2 but wasn’t involved in the goals.
