Arsenal fans have shown their love for Kai Havertz by creating a chant for the striker, taking aim at rival fans Chelsea in the process.
Mikel Arteta pushed hard to sign the German international in the summer of 2023, paying roughly £67.5million for him.
Since then, Kai Havertz has proven to be a useful player, capable of featuring both at centre-forward and in the midfield if required.
While plenty of the forward’s best play can come off of the ball, he has also found a knack for scoring some big goals.
Becoming a cult hero at times, the Arsenal fans have created a chant for Havertz that you may hear ringing around the Emirates Stadium or even elsewhere in the Premier League or Europe.

Kai Havertz chant lyrics from Arsenal fans
Arsenal fans made a chant to show their love for Kai Havertz, using the song “Waka Waka (This time for Africa)” by Shakira as the tune to build lyrics from.
The lyrics are as follows:
“Tsamina mina, eh, eh, Waka waka, eh, eh, £60million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again”.
The chant was first debuted by fans in September 2023, when the Gunners managed to cruise to a 4-0 victory over Bournemouth.
Havertz scored the third goal of the tie from the spot, opening his account for his Arsenal career in the game.
It spread through the away end as fans bellowed the song to their new hero, with it becoming a regular chant ever since.
The ending of the song, finishing with “£60million down the drain” is a clear shot at Chelsea fans, who slammed Havertz as he left to make the Emirates Stadium his new home.
While the Blues supporters were frustrated with the German international and his time at the club, Havertz cemented himself as an important figure for Arsenal.

Kai Havertz has been underrated at Arsenal
In his years at Arsenal, Havertz has often been the target of criticism as his lack of natural finishing ability has come into question.
With the former Chelsea man, it has often been about what he can’t do, rather than what he can do for the side.
His ability to win duels and press well from the front in an intelligent way has been a useful weapon for Arsenal in their off-the-ball activities.
While he sometimes lacks that cutting edge, Havertz has still scored some big goals for the side and will continue to do so.
