Manchester City were held to a 0-0 draw against Inter Milan at home, just a few days before their big clash against Arsenal in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola’s side, like they always are, are among the favourites to win the Champions League, but they haven’t started well.
Inter’s terrific defensive line was just too stubborn for the English champions, and to make things worse, Manchester City have lost Kevin De Bruyne to injury as well.
Arsenal have a game against Atalanta on Thursday night, but right after that, all eyes will be on the clash at the Etihad against City.
The Gunners picked up a point there in the 2023/24 season, and after Inter did the same in the Champions League on Wednesday night, Manchester City fans are really worried.

Manchester City fans express one big worry ahead of Arsenal clash
When Arsenal faced Manchester City at the Etihad last season, Mikel Arteta used a low block to prevent Guardiola’s men from having any joy in their attacking third.
Inter Milan used a similar tactic in the Champions League on Wednesday night, and after seeing that, City fans are fearing that Arteta will repeat the same on Sunday.
One Manchester City fan tweeted: “I didn’t think it could get any worse until I remembered that Mikel Allardaryce is also coming to park the bus this weekend.”
Another said: “Inter showed Arsenal what to do to silence City and pick a point or points from them in the EPL.”
“Not being able to finish off Inter today is concerning for the Arsenal game coming up. Probably playing the best PARK THE BUS team in the world at the moment,” wrote another.
Another City supporter wrote: “Dare I say, if we can’t beat a low block countering Inter and countering off our own mistakes, how will we beat an expected same system from Arsenal as the same as tonight’s team and last season’s Arsenal?”
Another concerned Manchester City fan said: “We’ve got eight at the back Inter today and 10 at the back Arsenal at the weekend.”
What Mikel Arteta should do vs Manchester City is now very clear
Arsenal have a very good recent record against Manchester City.
The Gunners drew at the Etihad and beat them at the Emirates in the 2023/24 season. Arteta also got one over Guardiola in the Community Shield.
Arsenal know how to get a result against City, and although we’d all like to see scintillating attacking football, a low-block counter-attacking system may just be the best way to get the job done.
Inter Milan have given Arsenal the blueprint on how to cause City problems, and we’re sure Arteta will take notes from that game ahead of Sunday.
A win for Arsenal at the Etihad will push them to the top of the Premier League table.
