Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is one of the most popular stars in the Premier League, and even rival players admire him.
Saka’s output has been outstanding this season, with 11 goals and 13 assists in 30 appearances across all competitions, and his influence on Mikel Arteta’s side continues to grow.
As one of England’s key players, he is a popular figure amongst teammates and fans, and AC Milan star Fikayo Tomori recently admitted that the 22-year-old was his favourite current International teammate.
Manchester United star Luke Shaw has been troubled by Saka on several occasions when facing his England teammate in heavyweight clashes between the two sides, but he has now expressed his admiration for the winger.
Manchester United’s Luke Shaw praises Bukayo Saka
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Man United left-back was asked who his favourite England teammate to see on International duty was, and he instantly responded with Saka, before claiming that he is one of the best people within the footballing world.
“To be honest, if you ask that question to everyone from England, everyone would say the same thing,” Shaw stated.
“He’s just the best guy ever. I love him. I had to pick him.
“You just can’t not like him. He makes everyone smile, he makes everyone happy. He’s funny, everything about him.
“He’s brilliant I think. His parents have obviously done a very good job of raising someone like that, because honestly I think he’s one of the best people in football.”
Is Saka Arsenal’s most-liked player?

Arsenal have had their share of top-class players over the years, but in recent times it has been rare that the club has had a player admired by everyone including rivals.
The likes of Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp were admired for their world-class footballing ability, whilst Santi Cazorla was also a player who captured the hearts of everyone watching him, even beyond Arsenal fans.
Saka’s status as a key England player makes him well-liked even among rival Premier League fanbases, and the mental fortitude he has shown to bounce back from a tough moment in the EURO 2020 final to become one of the best wingers in the World is nothing short of admirable.
As a lifelong Arsenal fan and a Hale End graduate, as well as one of the best players in Arteta’s squad, Saka is perhaps the fanbases’ favourite player right now, and having extended his contract in the summer, he is set to light up the Emirates for years to come.
