Arsenal are working very hard on transfers behind the scenes.
Everybody’s focus is on the World Cup right now, including the Gunners, because several players they have been linked with are currently playing in North America right now.
Andrea Berta must have already done the groundwork on many of them, including Lille and Morocco star Ayyoub Bouaddi.
Now, the teenager has received some high praise from a Manchester United star.
Imagine you are Andrea Berta. Who is your top target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window?
Noussair Mazraoui raves about Arsenal target Ayyoub Bouaddi
Bouaddi has been one of the rising stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The teenager produced an outstanding performance against Brazil in the opener, and he then followed it up with a fine display against Scotland as well.
Arsenal are really keen to sign Bouaddi this summer, and many feel he is the perfect player for Mikel Arteta’s side – for the present as well as the future.
Now, Mazraoui, who has played with incredible players at Ajax, Bayern Munich and now Manchester United, has delivered his verdict on the 18-year-old.

When told that Bouaddi is the first Moroccan ever to play two World Cup games before turning 19, he said on SportyTV: “That’s amazing!
“His quality speaks for itself. He’s an amazing player. He showed that against Brazil and today as well, it was a different game, but you see this guy with the ball, he has quality. Without the ball, he’s really important for us.
“I didn’t expect that from an 18-year-old guy, but really unbelievable.
“He’s really humble. I like that, and everybody likes that so much about him that despite having a great start, he is still that humble.”

Arsenal need to be quick to sign Ayyoub Bouaddi
Bouaddi already has a lot of admirers.
The teenager hasn’t just been linked with a move to Arsenal but a number of other top clubs as well, including Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool.
Now, if Bouaddi continues to shine for Morocco at the World Cup, more teams will join the race to sign him.
That will not just increase the competition for the Premier League champions but also potentially drive up his price, which wouldn’t be ideal at all.
For that reason, Arsenal should act quickly and strike a deal with Lille for Bouaddi’s signature.
