Arsenal are dreaming of winning the Premier League title in 2025/26.
Mikel Arteta’s men have finished second in each of the last three seasons, which is frustrating. With a bit more luck, they could easily have won two titles already.
The upcoming Premier League campaign will not be easy, as Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea have all strengthened heavily and are aiming for big seasons.
Arsenal haven’t been quiet in the market either; Arteta has been given a squad that is capable of going all the way.
Mark Clattenburg backs Arsenal to win the Premier League, but on one condition
Mark Clattenburg has watched many Premier League title races unfold right in front of him.
The experienced Englishman officiated nearly 300 games in the English top-flight over the years and saw many great teams in action.
Arsenal won 25 games when Clattenburg refereed them – no other team picked up as many victories when the 50-year-old was in the middle.
Now, Clattenburg has backed the Gunners to win their first Premier League title in over two decades, but he feels that’s only possible on one condition – if Liverpool don’t sign Alexander Isak.
He said on The Daily Mail’s Whistleblowers podcast: “Gyokeres signing for Arsenal is genius. Arsenal have been missing goals; they needed that leader upfront.
“If Liverpool don’t get Isak, I could see the league being really competitive this year. Luis Diaz has left, the new signings they’ve made will have to hit the ground running, and Salah is not getting any younger. He’s losing his pace.
“It all depends on Isak. If he goes (to Liverpool), there’s only one winner. But I really fancy Arsenal for the title.”

Arsenal still have a big hole in their squad
Arsenal deserve a lot of praise for the work they have done in the transfer window so far.
Andrea Berta has signed six players already: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera and Viktor Gyokeres.
That is a very strong window for the Gunners, but their defeat against Tottenham in Hong Kong showed that they still need one more player.
Arsenal’s struggles to break down low blocks continued against Spurs. Martin Odegaard alone cannot unlock that every game.
They either need another number 10 who can penetrate the opposition backline or a left-winger who is unstoppable when he’s in a 1v1 situation.
Eberechi Eze or Rafael Leao, or both, will solve all the problems Arsenal have in their attack.
