Mikel Arteta’s team have been crowned champions of England on 85 points and finished seven points above Manchester City.

But now, the full focus is on the Champions League final, with less than one week remaining until the Gunners head to Budapest.

Martin Odegaard has admitted that Arsenal will celebrate with the Premier League trophy ‘easy’ tonight, and then full focus will be on the Champions League final.

There are now just five days remaining until the Gunners are in action in the European Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Arteta’s side have the chance to make history by becoming the first Arsenal team to ever lift the famous European trophy.

Ahead of the final, Arsenal have Monday off, and then Tuesday is when preparations start for the trip to Hungary.

When asked about the plans for preparing for the final, Odegaard told Sky Sports: “I mean, we had a great celebration on Tuesday, and the vibes are unreal, you know.

“Everyone is so happy, but we have another big final in just a week. So we will wait to party after that. I think we’re off tomorrow and then Tuesday training, so we will go easy tonight.”

Odegaard was then asked what it would mean to complete the double: “Yeah, it would be unreal. I mean, we’re living in a dream, winning the Premier League and being in a Champions League final.

“I was speaking to my mate about growing up and dreaming about this, and now we’re there. So we’ve got to enjoy it and make sure we’re ready and go for it, hopefully we can do it.”
