But now they travel to Budapest for the Champions League final, with the chance to win the club’s first-ever European Cup.

Speaking ahead of the final, Odegaard has been speaking about how excited the team is to play against PSG in the final and how they are 90 minutes away from completing the double.

Martin Odegaard says Arsenal have been dreaming of the double

Martin Odegaard claims that Arsenal’s players have been dreaming of winning the Premier League and Champions League double all season.

Mikel Arteta’s team are now just 90 minutes away from making that dream a reality as they face PSG in the Champions League final.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Odegaard said: “Yeah, it’s incredible. We’re 90 minutes away from that, so we have something incredible to play for again.

“We’ve said that the whole season, you know, Premier League and Champions League, we want to be there.

“So another dream that we can make a reality, so it’s amazing, we have that to look forward to with this energy, with this mood in the group and to have a final to prepare for, it’s just so special.

“Everyone is just so excited and now we just want to play it straight away, you know? So we can’t wait.”

The Premier League title is the one trophy Arsenal have been desperate to win, having waited 22 years to finally get their hands on it.

However, for Arteta, the Champions League has always been the ultimate dream, and he will be eager to get the better of Luis Enrique this Saturday.
