The Gunners go into the final two matches sitting top of the Premier League table, but with City looking to capitalise on any slip-ups.

However, Zubimendi has been speaking about City’s pursuit of the Gunners, and the message from him is clear: Arsenal’s players are only focused on themselves.

Martin Zubimendi says Arsenal players aren’t worrying about Man City’s results

Martin Zubimendi claims that Arsenal players are not at all focused on Manchester City’s results and instead are focused on getting the job done themselves.

City completed the domestic cup double on Saturday and will now be looking to pounce on any Arsenal mistake in the final two Premier League matches.

City face Bournemouth and Aston Villa in their final two matches, but Zubimendi states that Arsenal players are only worried about what they do.

Speaking after City’s FA Cup win, Zubimendi told Mirror Sport: “We are very clear that to win everything we have to do our job. We depend on ourselves, so I don’t think we care what the others do. We are focused on ourselves.”

A win on Monday for Arsenal at home to Burnley and City dropping points away at Bournemouth would see the Gunners crowned champions on Tuesday.

Eberechi Eze on watching Man City’s games

Meanwhile, Eberechi Eze has also echoed Zubimendi’s message, adding that he does watch City’s games, but he does not stress over how they perform.

“Not stressing. Just watching the game, watching them against Palace. I’ve got loads of boys there as well. So, watching that,” Eze told Sky Sports.

“But yeah, it’s in our control, and we’re doing what we’re focused on, which is the main thing and not getting sucked in too much to everything else that’s going on around.

Everything is gearing up for a historic fortnight for Mikel Arteta’s team, and it will now be all about how well they can keep their nerve.
