During the current international break, the Arsenal midfielder has had the chance to link up again with his international teammates ahead of next summer’s World Cup.

Footage has now emerged from one of the training sessions in which Zubimendi and Yamal are practising shooting.
The pair have clearly become quite close, and Yamal was giving Zubimendi a fair amount of banter before the midfielder silenced him with an impressive goal.

Martin Zubimendi managed to silence Lamine Yamal in Spain training with an impressive goal after being bantered by the teenager.
Zubimendi and Yamal were practising shooting, with the Barcelona star telling him to be more aggressive when he strikes the ball.
Yamal was spotted telling him: “The only thing missing when you score a goal, bro… Come on! Wickedness, you know? Everyone has their own aura!”
The Arsenal star clearly took the advice personally and rifled an effort into the back of the net to silence the youngster.
Zubimendi wanted to add more goals to his game this season, and he has certainly improved in this area of his game since moving to Arsenal.

This is the 27-year-old’s highest goal-scoring campaign, with the midfielder having produced a total of six goals in all competitions for the Gunners.
Now, the latest footage from Spain training shows that Zubimendi has a wicked shot on him, and hopefully, we can see it more often during the final weeks of the season.
Zubimendi could have the chance to silence Yamal again if Arsenal and Barcelona both reach the Champions League semi-finals.
The Gunners face Sporting CP; meanwhile, Barcelona are against Atletico Madrid in what could be a very interesting tie.
