Arsenal picked up an impressive 4-0 win over Everton tonight and here are our player ratings.

Mikel Arteta went with an unchanged lineup from our win over Leicester City last weekend. Leandro Trossard started up top ahead of Eddie Nketiah, and Jorginho kept his place in the side even though Thomas Partey was available.

Goals from Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and a brace from Gabriel Martinelli sealed the game for Arsenal, and we’re now five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal player ratings vs Everton

Aaron Ramsdale: 8/10

Ramsdale had another quiet game. The Englishman was called into action early on when Neal Maupay had a pop at goal, and he pulled off a very good save off Dwight McNeil after the break. Solid display.

Ben White: 8.5/10

White is still not at the level he showed in the first half of the season, but he is slowly getting back to his best. He was excellent tonight, especially in the second half, and should’ve had a couple of assists to his name.

William Saliba: 8.5/10

Another solid display by the Frenchman. He dealt with everything Everton came up with and he was excellent in possession as well.

Gabriel Magalhaes: 8.5/10

Gabriel has been our best defender since the World Cup and he was brilliant again today. He was excellent all game and made light work of Maupay and co.

Oleksandr Zinchenko: 8.5/10

This guy just makes us incredible, doesn’t he? Zinchenko was once again heavily involved, and his assist for Bukayo Saka’s opener was absolutely outstanding.

Jorginho: 6.5/10

The Italian has been brilliant since he joined us from Chelsea in January, but he started the game really poorly. He was caught in possession on a couple of occasions and that could’ve hurt us. He was replaced by Thomas Partey at half time.

Granit Xhaka: 7.5/10

Xhaka worked tirelessly from start to finish. He was good on the ball and made numerous runs on the left side of the pitch to help Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli out.

Martin Odegaard: 8.5/10

Everton were very tight on Odegaard in the first half tonight, but our skipper still did well. He scored our third goal and ran the show after the break.

Gabriel Martinelli: 9.5/10

Martinelli worked incredibly hard all game and constantly interchenged positions with Trossard. The composure he showed for his first goal was outstanding and his movement to score his second was fantastic as well. Excellent display!

Leandro Trossard: 8/10

Another solid performance by the Belgian up top. He is developing a lovely little partnership with Martinelli on the left side of our attack, and their movement is making Arsenal a lot more unpredictable. He picked up a very good assist as well.

Bukayo Saka: 9/10

Everton, unsurprisingly, targeted Saka and almost always had two players on him. The first time they lost concentration, Saka punished them with a sensational goal off his weak foot, and it was his incredible work ethic that led to Martinelli’s strike just before the break.
