Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is looking to make history with the club as he looks to book them a place in the final of the Champions League for just the second time.
The Gunners made the Champions League final in 2006, losing to eventual winners Barcelona under Arsene Wenger.
In the years since, Arsenal haven’t been able to reach the same heights or even go one further, but opportunity awaits this season.
Mikel Arteta has guided his team to the final four of this season’s Champions League, with the competition opening up.
Arsenal take on PSG for a place in this year’s final, with both teams having plenty of ties over the years.
One of those is Arteta, who played for both, though it was his time with the French giants that ended with glory on a European stage.

Mikel Arteta won the Intertoto Cup with PSG before making Arsenal move
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta had a successful playing career before he made the change to management, representing plenty of clubs.
Coming through La Masia at Barcelona, the midfielder was handed a loan at PSG in the 2001-2002 season to gain some experience.
During that time, Arteta picked up a European trophy, winning the 2001 Intertoto Cup as one of three winners in that year’s competition.
PSG took on Brescia over two legs, with a 1-1 draw on aggregate resulting in a win for the Parisian side due to the away goal rule.
As it stands, that is PSG’s last European honour, with their only other one coming in the 1995-96 season in the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup.
With Arteta picking up that European victory so early in his career, he will be looking for a similar triumph with Arsenal.
Getting past his old team won’t be easy, though, with mixed predictions on Arsenal’s clash with PSG showing how finely poised the matchup is.

Mikel Arteta’s record as a PSG player
Arteta played one season at PSG, where he managed to develop himself into the player he would go on to become.
The midfielder tasted glory with the Ligue 1 outfit in Europe, becoming a regular starter for the side before he returned.

With 53 appearances, Arteta cemented himself as an important part of the PSG team, moving to Rangers in Scotland the next summer.
Switches to Everton, Real Sociedad and Arsenal followed before his step into management.
