Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has discussed an upcoming trip abroad for his players on a warm-weather training camp in the hope that it will spark a change in fortunes.
It comes after a tricky and testing few months of the campaign, with the hunt for the Premier League title still on.

While the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg will be a mountain to climb – with a two-goal deficit to cut down – there is still hope for a successful season.
Fortunately for Arteta and Arsenal, there may be a break coming just at the right time to pick his side up and go again.
Mikel Arteta reveals Arsenal Dubai trip 2025 in mid-season break
While Arsenal won’t have been happy to be knocked out by Manchester United in the FA Cup, it has come with an unlikely boost.
Due to the way fixture schedules work in the Premier League, there was a weekend blocked out entirely for FA Cup clashes in the fourth round.
With the Gunners not involved, there has suddenly been a free week available to the head coach he can work with.
That harks back to a trick from the previous campaign where Arsenal went on a warm-weather trip to Dubai for a regroup and it worked wonders.
On the possibility of a repeat, Arteta told the press before the clash with Newcastle: “I think it’s coming, yes,” with a coy smile on his face.
On those trips and how they are organised, he said: “There’s a lot of things that will be very similar. Location, where we are staying, where we train.
“But then we have to modify it, we’re going to be in a different moment of the season, different numbers, probably the team needs other stimulants or other things so we are preparing a few things and they will work a lot like the other times.”
It means the players and staff are ready for a much-needed trip in the sun away from the everyday chaos of the season.
