Mikel Arteta has provided the latest injury update on Thomas Partey, with the Arsenal midfielder now back in the field running again.
The Ghanian international has missed the majority of the season due to injury, with the north London side missing out on Partey’s presence in the midfield having been a regular for the Gunners last year.
Whilst the arrival of Declan Rice has helped the issue massively, there’s no denying that Arsenal have potentially missed out on their ultimate form with Partey out through injury.
Mikel Arteta provides ‘very good’ Thomas Partey injury update

However, speaking to the press this morning, Arteta has revealed a promising injury update on Partey, with the midfielder progressing well and now back out on the pitch.
Indeed, whilst the former Atletico Madrid star is unlikely to return to the matchday squad anytime soon, this update could be massive for Arsenal heading into the final three months of the season.
Arteta said when asked about Arsenal’s latest injury updates: “Some of them have been progressing better than others, I hope we will have some of them back for tomorrow.
“There are no big setbacks and Thomas Partey is progressing really well. It’s looking very good and he’s on the field already.”
Injured players are returning at the right time for Arsenal

With Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Emile Smith Rowe also closing in on returns to full fitness, it’s safe to say Arsenal’s squad options will soon be as healthy as they have been all season.
Add in Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber at the back with Partey now returning to the midfield, things are looming extremely promising for Arsenal heading into the final months of the campaign.
Indeed, injuries have played their part in Arsenal’s season, and the likes of Partey and Jesus returning is nothing short of massive for the Gunners, who could have a full squad in a few short weeks.
