Norway doctor explains Martin Odegaard injury latest
Martin Odegaard is an injury concern for Arsenal after suffering an ankle issue while on international duty with Norway.
The club captain had to leave midway through his nation’s clash with Austria, eventually leaving the scene with crutches.
It means the midfielder could miss out on the North London Derby as well as the return to the Champions League and then the Premier League title clash with Manchester City.

The Gunners have been given an update on the situation from the Norway team doctor, which is far from an ideal situation.
Speaking to Norweigan outlet VG, team doctor Ola Sand said: “Such ankle injuries often take at least three weeks. Anything other than that is just a bonus. And then it can take longer.”
It creates concerns that the playmaker will now miss some key action, coming as a potential blow.

Will Ethan Nwaneri start for Arsenal in the North London Derby?
Mikel Arteta has some key decisions to make ahead of the North London Derby, with his squad looking relatively thin on the ground.
Arsenal face a potential midfield crisis as Mikel Merino and Martin Odegaard are out injured, while Declan Rice is missing through suspension.
That leaves few options available to the head coach when picking the team that will start against Tottenham over the weekend.
Jorginho and Thomas Partey are natural midfield options, while make-shift positional changes could be in line for a few players.
However, another potential inclusion could be Hale End academy star Ethan Nwaneri, who has already impressed in the first team at just 17 years old.

The youngster was given his debut in the Premier League away at Brentford in 2022, becoming one of the youngest players in history to play in the division.
Fast forward a few years and he may finally get a chance to start in the division, but that may not be the case.
According to GiveMeSport, Nwaneri won’t start for Arsenal in the North London Derby, despite the midfield troubles.
The report claims that the Gunners are looking to avoid thrusting him straight into the team for such an occasion.

Jorginho gives verdict on Raheem Sterling transfer
Arsenal star Jorginho has given his verdict on Raheem Sterling joining the Gunners on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The winger made the switch to the Emirates Stadium on transfer deadline day in a move that came as a surprise to many.
That includes Jorginho, who wasn’t aware of Sterling making the move until the day after when he woke up.
Speaking to Arsenal legend David Seaman on the Seaman Says Podcast, the Italian international said: “You know the club, especially Mikel and Edu, what they’re doing, you know who they are bringing in, is just what [the team needs], so something good’s going to happen for sure.
“When you see there is a player, that you know, that you played together and you know their qualities already, you know how they can help more, and if you feel like, ‘okay, I know how to give him the ball already,’ you know you don’t need to get to know him, it is different.”
“No, because I’m honestly not there looking at the news and stuff, because it’s mad,” Jorginho replied when asked if he knew Sterling was joining at the time.
“It was the day of the [Brighton] game no? So I woke up to go and then I was like ‘What?’ Then we found out that he was coming, and he’s going to be great, great for us with his qualities, and what he’s won already, and I think he can add a lot to the team.”
