One player who arrived this summer is Christian Norgaard, and while he was a key player for Brentford under Thomas Frank, he’s yet to start a Premier League game at Arsenal.
However, speaking to ViaPlay, Mikel Arteta has spoken very highly of the Dane, claiming that he’s been really impressed by the 31-year-old.

Arteta spoke about Norgaard and how impressed he has been with the former Brentford man.
The Arsenal boss says that Norgaard has brought something different to the club with his leadership, stating that he makes his teammates better via osmosis even if he isn’t on the pitch.
“I think he’s a player that has brought something very different to the club. I’ve been really impressed. He’s one of the big leaders in this club,” Arteta said.
“The way he behaves, the way he takes his profession, the way he collaborates with everybody at the club, and that regardless whether you play more minutes or less minutes, he’s a player that you know that when you need him, he’s always going to be there.
“Regardless of the position, regardless of the contact, and he’s going to make you better. And I was very clear with him at the beginning when he came and what his role was for the team. And I think he has a huge quality, which is he makes his teammates better.

Arsenal may not have bought the best midfielder in the Premier League in Christian Norgaard, but they have bought a very experienced player who can step up when it matters.
