Arsenal finally got over the line this season because they became more than just a talented football team.
Mikel Arteta has built an incredible squad filled with elite players, but the culture inside the dressing room may actually be the biggest reason why the Gunners are now champions again.
The togetherness, unity and willingness to fight for each other have been obvious all season long. Arteta deserves enormous praise for creating that environment at the football club.
In fact, the Arsenal manager has now admitted his players are so good as people that it has actually made him question something.

Mikel Arteta says he sometimes wonders if Arsenal’s players are too nice
One of the biggest strengths of this Arsenal squad is how connected the squad looks both on and off the pitch.
There are no obvious egos, no public fallouts and very little drama despite the enormous pressure that comes with competing for the biggest trophies.
Instead, Arteta has built a dressing room filled with players who genuinely seem to care about each other and the collective success of the team.
That atmosphere has clearly left a huge impression on the Arsenal manager himself.

Speaking about them, Arteta told TNT Sports: “It’s the best dressing room I have ever had, and I said that to them.
“Sometimes, I question myself, ‘Are they too nice?’ Because it is incredible.
“I mean, the level of the human beings that we have in the dressing room, it is not normal, and especially in the generation that we see next to each other every day.
“So, we better keep that because that’s a big asset for the club.”

Do Arsenal need to change their ways to beat PSG in the Champions League final?
Some people may wonder if Arsenal’s players are perhaps too nice to handle a huge Champions League final against PSG.
However, Arteta clearly believes kindness and competitiveness can exist together. The Arsenal boss insists his players know exactly when it is time to switch into battle mode.
Arteta explained: “No. I think what we have instilled in them is that they can be really nice, but then we have to compete like animals.
“When we cross that line, there is only one thing in mind, and we know what it is. And I think they have got that.”
That mentality is exactly why Arsenal now look capable of winning absolutely anything. They have the togetherness of a family, but the mentality of elite competitors.
That combination could make them champions of Europe too.
