Arsenal’s top priority this summer is to sign a prolific striker, and the club are currently pursuing Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres.
The Gunners are looking to find someone who can provide cover and competition for Kai Havertz, with a view to the player usurping the German at some point.
Gyokeres may now be available for just £51 million, which could dictate the direction the North Londoners ultimately go in, as RB Leipzig continue to demand £67 million for Sesko.
However, there are concerns about both players and their ability to perform in the Premier League, and thus, Andrea Berta is keeping his options open.

Dean Saunders says Darwin Nunez would score 25 goals for Arsenal
If Berta opts for a proven Premier League option, Arsenal should sign Ollie Watkins.
The Aston Villa striker has consistently scored goals in the English top flight over the last five years, netting 15 or more in each of his last three campaigns.
However, the England international is 29 and the Gunners may not want to outlay a substantial fee on a player who is likely to start declining in the next two years.
TalkSPORT’s Dean Saunders has offered Arsenal an alternative Premier League option.
The former Liverpool player has claimed that Darwin Nunez would score 25 goals for the Gunners, despite the Uruguayan netting just seven goals across all competitions for the Merseysiders last season.
“Is there any fan out there that if the club was linked with Nunez would be disappointed?” Saunders asked on talkSPORT.
“I agree that he’s not got enough goals for Liverpool, but I think we all look at him with the same eyes.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he went to Arsenal and scored 25 goals, or anywhere [else].”
Nunez could be available for a cut-price this summer, as Liverpool look to move him on after he fell out of favour last season under Arne Slot.

Arsenal should not sign Darwin Nunez this summer
Arsenal were loosely linked with Nunez last summer, but ultimately opted not to sign him.
While the Uruguayan possesses some exciting attributes, such as his exceptional movement and ability to get good quality shots off inside the box, there are too many red flags for the Gunners to ignore.
Most obviously, his finishing has consistently been poor, lacking conviction when taking chances, and the Gunners need someone with a more ruthless streak in front of goal.
Perhaps more pertinently, Nunez’s numbers dipped significantly in a more controlled and less chaotic system under Slot.
Mikel Arteta’s system is all about control, and thus, the former Benfica man is likely not well suited to Arsenal’s style of play.
Even at a reduced price, Nunez is not an investment Arsenal should be making in such a critical window.
