William Saliba has joined a number of Arsenal players in congratulating Emile Smith Rowe for signing a new contract at Arsenal.
The Gunners have been trying to get this deal done for months. We were all convinced that it was only a matter of time before Smith Rowe put pen to paper, but a couple of ridiculous bids from Aston Villa raised some concerns.
However, Arsenal were never in doubt and the deal was confirmed yesterday. Smith Rowe will remain a big part of our club, and he will dawn the number 10 shirt from the start of next season, which is absolutely massive for him.
Smith Rowe and Saliba – The future of Arsenal
Arsenal have a fantastic group of young players at the club. Smith Rowe, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are established stars already, while Folarin Balogun and new boys Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga fall into the same category as well.
One player whose name isn’t mentioned for the right reasons is William Saliba. The youngster has had a hard time at Arsenal so far. He has been forced out on loan again this summer, but he is very much a part of our future, and he will be a real star for us along with the likes of Smith Rowe and Saka.

The young Frenchman hasn’t been able to spend a lot of time with his Arsenal teammates since joining us, but he seems to have built a decent relationship with Smith Rowe, and his message on Instagram yesterday shows that.
