One of Arsenal’s star players has now been criticised by his nation’s media after his most recent performance despite winning 3-0 on the night.
The end of the Premier League season has been quickly followed up with the summer international break, with a number of Arsenal’s best players currently representing their national teams ahead of some huge tournaments.
The likes of Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice will be hoping to bring it home for England at the 2024 Euros, whilst Gabriel Magalhaes will hope to make a claim for Brazil during their bid to win the Copa America.
Yet last night saw one Arsenal star criticised by the media for his international performance.

Martin Odegaard receives poor reviews after Norway’s 3-0 win vs Kosovo
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard started and captained Norway in their 3-0 win last night against Kosovo in a summer friendly, with Manchester City forward Erling Haaland scoring all three goals in the victory.
Yet as per Nettavisen, Odegaard’s performance was hardly one to remember, who apparently ‘disappeared’ as the game went on despite a good start to the contest.
With Norwegian station TV2 also giving Odegaard a 6/10 for his performance against Kosovo, it’s clear that the midfielder wasn’t at his best last night for his national team.
Indeed, the Euros will be a strange affair without Norway this summer given the world-class players the Scandinavian country has, yet Odegaard having a full off-season to relax could work wonders.

Odegaard will be raring to go again next season for Arsenal
Odegaard was one of Arsenal’s standout players this year as the 25-year-old midfielder showed why he is considered one of the best in the world in his position.
And for next season, Odegaard will be fired up to go again, with Arsenal coming so close to the Premier League title in the second-half of the season.
With Odegaard one of the leaders in this Arsenal squad, the Norwegian captain will be eager to get back to league action and to push Manchester City for the title, something the Gunners could do with the right signings.
