Data models suggest that Arsenal’s Premier League run-in is the hardest of the three teams gunning for the title this season.

The north London side currently sit top of the English top-flight heading into the March international break, with Arsenal on an incredible run of eight wins in a row whilst also having the best attack and defence record.

Mikel Arteta has got Arsenal playing some of the best football they’ve ever played in the Premier League era, yet even this might not be enough for the Gunners to lift their first title in 20 years.

According to data from Opta via the Guardian, Arsenal’s Premier League run-in is the hardest out of the three teams going for the title, with Manchester City and Liverpool having easier fixtures.

With the Gunners facing off against Pep Guardiola’s side next in what is easily the hardest Premier League fixture of the entire season, Arsenal’s title challenge could soon fall apart.

And with upcoming away ties against Tottenham and Manchester United as well as historically difficult ties against Brighton & Hove Albion and Aston Villa, it’s easy to see why Arsenal aren’t favourites for the Premier League.

Indeed, the north London side will have to be perfect if they’re to match the likes of City and Liverpool, and Arteta’s side might fail to do just that despite recent form in the Premier League.

Arsenal are no strangers to late-season collapses, with the north London side throwing away the title last year with top-four falling away from them the season before that.

And based on who Arsenal need to play in their final ten hames of the 2023/24 campaign, there’s a real chance that the Gunners could see their title challenge once again fall apart.

As we know, Arsenal have a series of tough fixtures coming up that Arteta has found difficult in recent years, and with City and Liverpool set to become unstoppable winning machines, it might all be too much for the Gunners to handle.
