Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Newcastle injury, Ollie Watkins transfer and Ismael Bennacer deal.
Arsenal are fresh from their 5-1 thrashing of rivals Manchester City, where the side managed to put on a display to be proud of in the Premier League.
They will be switching league action for the cup soon though, as they look to overturn a two-goal deficit to overcome Newcastle in the Carabao Cup semi-final in midweek.
Elsewhere, the transfer window has finally slammed shut on what has been something of an uneventful month for Arsenal.
So with that said, here’s a look at the biggest Arsenal stories ahead of another busy day of action.
Newcastle handed injury before Arsenal clash
Arsenal are set to take on Newcastle in a clash of epic proportions in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg.
The Gunners need to overturn a 2-0 scoreline on aggregate to book their place in the final of the competition.
While it may be tough, the Magpies may find it a bit tougher due to an injury concern to midfielder Joelinton.
That’s because, according to journalist Joel Bland, the Brazilian has travelled to London to assess the knee problem he has faced.
It could lead to question marks over Joelinton’s availability for the upcoming clash on Wednesday evening.

Aston Villa respond to Ollie Watkins transfer reports
Arsenal’s move for Ollie Watkins will be filed under one of those transfers that never was after the side struggled to land the striker over the January window.
An initial £40million bid was rejected by Aston Villa late in the market, with the valuation on a transfer seemingly apart.

There were reports stating that the Villains had welcomed an approach for Watkins in the region of £60million.
However, Arsenal Insider understands that Aston Villa “totally deny” any suggestion that they encouraged a bid for their star striker in the remainder of the window.

Former Arsenal star set for big move
While the January transfer window saw very few current Arsenal players move into or out of the club, there were some former stars making switches.
Among those was Ismael Bennacer, who was part of the squad at a young age before moving on to impress for AC Milan.
Arsene Wenger was the manager at the time when the midfielder left in 2017 for just £850,000, which may have been less than expected.
All those years on, Bannacer was touted with another big move as Fabrizio Romano revealed a switch to Marseille was on the cards on transfer deadline day.
A move was touted with a loan including an option to buy in the region of €10million.
