TalkSPORT pundit Darren Bent has had his say after being told that Bukayo Saka might be too good for Arsenal.

The Gunners are unbeaten in the Premier League so far this season. We haven’t been at our best, but we’re still picking up points, which is a good sign. Saka, as usual, has been one of Arsenal‘s best players.

Bukayo Saka is arguably Arsenal’s best player.

The Englishman has been incredible for us over the last few years, and he is one of the first names on Mikel Arteta‘s team sheet every single week.

Saka is still only 22, which is remarkable. He is already world-class, but he’s nowhere near his prime yet. He will get even better in the coming years, which is good news for Arsenal.

However, the better Saka gets, the more interest he will have from other clubs. We’re sure sides like Manchester City and Liverpool would pounce now if they had an opportunity.

On talkSPORT, Andy Goldstein suggested that Saka might be too good for Arsenal already. Darren Bent was having none of that.

He replied: “That’s nonsense! Too good for Arsenal? He should be playing for a team in the Champions League, which is where he is at. He’s not too good for Arsenal. ”

Absolute nonsense

Bukayo Saka may well be Arsenal’s best player, but he’s not too good for the club – nobody is!

Arsenal are one of the biggest football clubs in the world. We are a global brand, and as we showed last season, we are serious title contenders as well.

Saka will definitely attract interest from some of the biggest clubs in the world in a few years’ time. He may well decide to consider a few offers too at some point. But, that will not be because he is ‘too big for Arsenal’.

Bent is right, Goldstein was speaking absolute nonsense there.
