'Now I'm nervous': Some Arsenal fans can't believe who is starting in the NLD

Granit Xhaka is back in the XI for Arsenal ahead of the North London Derby against Tottenham.

The Swiss international has missed the past three games after seeing red in the Gunners 5-0 loss to Manchester City in August. Since then, Arsenal have won every game and not conceded a single goal with Xhaka not in the XI ahead of this afternoon’s clash with Tottenham.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be desperate to claim three points over Spurs. After all, Arsenal won their past two Premier League games against Norwich City and Burnley, whilst Tottenham have lost against Crystal Palace and Chelsea.

Thomas Partey and Albert Sambi Lokonga both started together against Burney and AFC Wimbledon and impressed. Whilst Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who started against Norwich, also played well.

Moreover, it will be a huge test for Xhaka. The Swiss midfielder angered many supporters by remaining at the club this summer. Furthermore, his red card did little to improve his already broken reputation amongst supporters.
