Arsenal picked up a dominant 3-1 win over Chelsea at the Emirates tonight, and here are our player ratings.

Mikel Arteta made three surprise changes to his side today. Jakub Kiwior, Jorginho and Leandro Trossard came in to replace Rob Holding, Thomas Partey and Gabriel Martinelli. The Arsenal boss’ plan worked perfectly as we battered Chelsea and picked up all three points.

A brace from Martin Odegaard and a close-range finish from Gabriel Jesus sealed the game for us.

Why Pele Is Overrated.

Arsenal player ratings vs Chelsea

Aaron Ramsdale: 7/10

Ramsdale had nothing to do for most of the game, but he stepped up when called upon to deny Ben Chilwell in the first half. Sadly, he couldn’t stop Noni Madueke’s strike.

Ben White: 8/10

The Englishman was nearly embarrassed by Raheem Sterling at one point in the first half, but he was brilliant from that point. His fantastic left-footed cross led to Gabriel Jesus’ goal to put us 3-0 up before the break.

Jakun Kiwior: 9.5/10

There were a few eyebrows raised when Arteta dropped Holding and went with Kiwior at right-centre-half. That proved to be an inspired decision as the Pole showed today why Arsenal went and signed him in January. He had Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in his pocket in the first half too, which was pretty funny!

Gabriel Magalhaes: 8/10

Gabriel had a solid game, but the big worry is that he appeared to have picked up an injury in the second half. We’ve already lost William Saliba – losing Gabi too would be disastrous.

Oleksandr Zinchenko: 8/10

Zinchenko had a difficult game against Manchester City last week, but he was back to his best today. He drifted into midfield really well and kept us ticking. Excellent display.

Jorginho: 9/10

This was another shock as nobody really expected Thomas Partey to be dropped. Jorginho came in and looked incredible against his former side. He now deserves to keep his place.

Granit Xhaka: 9.5/10

Do we have a new assist king? Xhaka was involved in all three goals in the first half for Arsenal and he has now been directly involved in 50 goals for us in all competitions. Excellent display tonight!

Martin Odegaard: 10/10

Captain fantastic, midfield maestro, man of the match! What an incredible performance from our captain after a difficult couple of games. He is just brilliant!

Bukayo Saka: 7.5/10

Saka’s form has slightly dipped since he missed that penalty at West Ham, hasn’t it? The Englishman is still threatening, but he’s lacking that bit of magic at the moment. Hopefully, that comes back soon.

Leandro Trossard: 8/10

We all expected Trossard to start today, but not in place of Gabi Martinelli. But, he came in and was excellent in the first half. He was replaced by the Brazilian after the break.

Gabriel Jesus: 8.5/10

The Brazilian has been poor recently, but he looked back to his best tonight. He was a nuisance to Chelsea’s defenders and took his goal really well. Very good display!
