Paul Merson has just predicted the result of Bournemouth vs Arsenal at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Gunners are one of just two teams to win each of their first two games in the Premier League so far this season. We beat Crystal Palace on the opening day and followed that up with an impressive victory over Leicester City last weekend.
Now, it’s a tricky away trip to Bournemouth, but Merson believes Arsenal will get the job done without too much trouble.
Paul Merson predicts Bournemouth vs Arsenal
In his column on Sportskeeda, the Englishman wrote: “Bournemouth started the season with three points against Aston Villa but were blown away by Manchester City last weekend.
“Arsenal have been one of the most impressive sides so far in the Premier League this season and played brilliant football against Crystal Palace and Leicester City, so I expect them to go to the Vitality Stadium and make it three wins from three.
“Mikel Arteta and co have conceded chances, but they have been incredibly lively up front and should capitalize on the opportunity to win their first five games before facing Liverpool and Tottenham.
“Prediction: Bournemouth 1-3 Arsenal”

Predicted Arsenal XI vs Bournemouth
Arsenal will definitely go into the game as favourites, but an away fixture against a newly promoted side is always a tricky task.
However, we don’t expect Arteta to make any changes to his side for this game – even though Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney are both back and raring to go.
We believe Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal with a back four of Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Oleksandr Zinchenko. Thomas Partey and an attack-minded Granit Xhaka will start in the middle of the park, with skipper Martin Odegaard pulling the strings from the number 10 position.
There really is no debate over our front three. Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka are all guaranteed starters if they’re fit.
