Arsenal are in a very powerful position in English football right now.
The Gunners just won the Premier League and are officially the best team in the country. They are, in many people’s eyes, the favourites to retain their crown next season as well.
Arsenal are in a position where they can build a dynasty now, and to do so, they will need to become even stronger with the help of the transfer market.
Paul Merson has now made an interesting suggestion.

Paul Merson tells Arsenal to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United
West Ham United suffered relegation from the Premier League on the final day of last season.
Many of their top players have been linked with moves away from the Irons, particularly to top-flight clubs.
Arsenal were linked with Matheus Fernandes, but those links have quietened down now. Another West Ham star of interest to the Gunners is Crysencio Summerville.
Now, Merson has urged the champions to sign the Dutch winger. If they do, he feels the North Londoners could form a dynasty in the Premier League.
He told The Metro: “For me, they need a left winger to go to the next level, and they need a centre-forward, in my opinion.
“If Arsenal can get them two, I still think they win the league next year, but then I think they absolutely dominate football. When you look at the transfer market, there are options out there.
“Someone like Summerville has been terrific. He’s played well for West Ham and started really well at the World Cup for the Netherlands. He’d certainly be the kind of player profile that Arsenal should be looking at.
“I like Bradley Barcola from PSG as well. Martinelli’s done well, and Trossard’s a good footballer, but I just think they need that winger who is going to scare the opposition.”

Paul Merson is right and wrong at the same time
Merson is right, Arsenal need to sign a new left-winger this summer.
Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard are both excellent on their day, but neither player, as Merson says, is going to strike fear into the opposition.
Where the Arsenal legend is wrong, however, is that Summerville is not going to do that either.
The best right-backs in the world are not going to look at the West Ham winger and lose much sleep over him destroying them.
That is why Arsenal need to be looking at someone a lot better this summer.
