The scenes outside the Emirates on Tuesday night left even those inside Arsenal lost for words.
While the Arsenal squad watched on and celebrated from London Colney on Tuesday night, an estimated 100,000 fans descended upon the stadium following the club’s Premier League title confirmation.
Highly reputable club source Hand of Arsenal has said people inside the club were ‘genuinely shook’ by the fan outpour during the celebrations.
“People at the club are genuinely shook at how 100k fans descended upon the Emirates at 12am,” the source wrote. “Turned it into a national event.”
The Premier League trophy is dressed in red and white after 22 years. How does this make you feel?
Looking ahead to Sunday, the source wrote, “Peak summer weather on Sunday. It’s going to be a movie. We saved football. We did that. Insane vibes.”
It was an enormous outpouring of emotion from a fanbase that has waited 22 years for this moment.
Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze and Jurrien Timber were among the players who made their way to the ground to celebrate with fans in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Josh Kroenke left stunned as Arsenal talk dynasty
The reaction from within the club reportedly extended all the way to the top.
Hand of Arsenal also revealed that owner Josh Kroenke, despite having backed the club throughout, was taken aback by the sheer scale of the supporters’ response.
“Josh Kroenke fully backed us but even he is absolutely shooketh at our motion. The owners have got to see what this club means to the everyday working person,” the source wrote.
“Clear message to the fans is, we don’t stop here. We want a dynasty. Players are begging their agents… ARSENAL.”
Mikel Arteta’s side will have to wait until Sunday to actually lift the title, but the Premier League have already attached the red and white ribbons to the trophy.
And all the noise from the club suggests that winning the 2025-26 Premier League title is just the beginning.
