The Gunners’ 1-0 win over Burnley on Monday, along with City dropping points at Bournemouth, means they will get the trophy at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Now, Guardiola has been speaking about City missing out on the title to Arsenal and about his former assistant being the man to snatch it from him.

Pep Guardiola has congratulated both Arsenal and Mikel Arteta after ending the club’s 22-year wait for the Premier League title.
Guardiola told Sky Sports: “We were close. Congratulations to Arsenal, Mikel, the staff, and all the players for this Premier League. Congratulations to Arsenal!”
The departing City boss was also asked to give a word on how special it was for Arteta to have finally won his team a title.

“It’s special for him, it’s special. You know, they put a lot of effort and work into it, congratulations,” added Guardiola.
Arsenal will get their hands on the trophy this Sunday at Selhurst Park, and Martin Odegaard will be the first Gunners captain to lift it since Patrick Vieira.
