Arsenal have been heavily linked with Mykhaylo Mudryk in recent months, and the Ukrainian has seemingly added more fuel to transfer speculation after being photographed in Dubai.

As per AFC Sports Village’s official Instagram account, the Shakhtar Donetsk superstar is currently in Dubai on a mid-season break, where Arsenal have this week been spending a training camp as Mikel Arteta’s side competed in a friendly tournament against the likes of AC Milan and Olympique Lyonnais.

The Athletic have recently reported that the north London side have made Mudryk their main transfer priority this summer, and the 21-year-old being spotted in Dubai has done little to level Arsenal fans’ expectations ahead of the January transfer window.

With an asking price of £100m, the hype is certainly real around Mudryk, who this season has been one of the breakout stars in Europe and a talent that many Arsenal fans are eager to see Arteta sign in the January market.

And this latest update that Mudryk himself is in Dubai could be significant, with Arsenal playing a friendly against Milan seemingly hours after the photo was taken, hinting that the attacker could be in town to discuss a move to the north London side.

Arsenal have not been shy in their acknowledgement of wanting a wide-attacker in the January transfer window, and Mudryk would be the perfect addition given the winger’s profile and how well the youngster could suit the Premier League.

Versatile, dangerous and a proven talent in the UEFA Champions League this season, Mudryk has all the properties to become a real asset for Arsenal in the years to come. And the player himself being spotted in Dubai is a huge tease that the attacker could be in discussions to sign for the Gunners next month.
