A picture of what Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has had painted on the floor of the Gunners’ London Colney training centre has surfaced online.

The Spaniard has transformed the club in more than just one way. He has brilliantly developed young players, instilled a winning mentality and established a fantastic connection with the fans.

To add to that, he has changed a few things at the Emirates and in London Colney to send a strong message to his players. One of them is now available for everyone to see.

What Mikel Arteta has had painted on the floor of Arsenal’s London Colney

Arteta’s Arsenal are on top of the Premier League table at the moment, five points clear of defending champions Manchester City. Nobody expected us to be in this position, but Arteta has made it possible.

The Spaniard has not just coached this team incredibly well, he has also instilled a winner’s mentality – not just in games, but also on the training ground in London Colney.

Goal’s Charles Watts, along with a number of other journalists, were present at Arsenal’s training centre to have a look at the players before they flew to Portugal for our Europa League game against Sporting Lisbon.

Gabriel Jesus’ return to training is the biggest news of the day and videos of him in full flow are a sight to behold.

The other thing that caught Watts’ eye is a message Arteta has had painted on the floor at London Colney. The players see this before heading out to the training pitch every day.

A huge picture of Arsenal’s crest is painted below a strong three-word message that reads: “Train to win.” The players are definitely doing that these days!
