Arsenal are well known to be an excellent side from corners.
The Gunners have scored 13 goals in the Premier League from these dead-ball deliveries this season, with set-piece coach Nicolas Jover earning plaudits as a result.
At times earlier this campaign, the Gunners’ prowess from corners was single-handedly winning them games.

Yet despite the club’s strong record, there is another team that is statistically better in this department than Mikel Arteta’s side.
Crystal Palace revealed to be the best Premier League side from corners
According to The Athletic, Crystal Palace are the best side in the top flight from corner kicks.
While the Eagles have scored the same number of goals as Arsenal at 13, the joint-most in the League, they have conceded two fewer.
| Team | Goals scored from corners |
| Arsenal | 13 |
| Crystal Palace | 13 |
| Aston Villa | 13 |
| Everton | 13 |
| Brighton | 12 |
| Nottingham Forest | 12 |
Indeed, Arsenal can be considered fairly average defensively this campaign when it comes to defending set pieces.
The Gunners have conceded eight goals from corners so far this season, with seven Premier League teams conceding less.
| Arsenal | 8 |
| Premier League average | 8.6 |
Moreover, when The Athletic averages each side’s goals per 100 set-pieces, Crystal Palace are the clear front-runners.
While there is no immediate fix to the North London side’s defensive frailties for Jover, Arsenal’s attacking fortunes from corners could nonetheless be about to get stronger as a key player nears their return following a lengthy injury lay-off.
Bukayo Saka could be back for Arsenal’s next game against Fulham
Before he picked up his hamstring injury against Crystal Palace in December, Bukayo Saka was in excellent form.

The 23-year-old had recorded nine goals and 13 assists across 24 matches in all competitions for the Gunners this season.
And despite not playing since 21st December, Saka remains second for highest number of Premier League assists this campaign.
| Player | Club | Assists |
| Mohamed Salah | Liverpool | 17 |
| Bukayo Saka | Arsenal | 10 |
| Mikkel Damsgaard | Brentford | 10 |
| Antonee Robinson | Fulham | 10 |
| Bruno Fernandes | Manchester United | 9 |
| Son Heung-Min | Tottenham Hotspur | 9 |
Three of these assists have come from corners, the Arsenal first-team star’s delivery being exemplary.
And with Saka in line to return against Fulham, the Gunners’ dead-ball deliveries could be about to get even more potent once again.
