The Gunners have scored 22 goals from corners this season, making them undoubtedly one of the most feared teams from set-pieces.

However, PSG are already putting plans in place to counter the Gunners’ dangerous tactics and are preparing their goalkeepers for Arsenal’s grappling.

Everyone is now fully aware of the threat the Gunners pose from set-pieces, and PSG are making sure their goalkeepers are prepared.

Arsenal will be fully aware of how dangerous PSG’s front three can be on the break; therefore, they will need to be smart in the way they look to score.

Paul Scholes has told Arsenal not to go toe-to-toe with PSG, and scoring a corner could be their best chance of breaking the deadlock in the final.

But work is now well underway in the French capital to try to combat these corner tactics, with coaches using combat training and pads to get them used to being under pressure.

PSG will know that Gabriel Magalhaes is the key player they will need to stop from these situations, with the Brazilian being a real nuisance this season.

Meanwhile, Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice have also become so good at delivering corners now, making it so tricky for teams to defend.

Rather ironically, at the weekend, VAR disallowed West Ham’s equaliser after Pablo was deemed to have fouled David Raya from a corner.

Set-pieces have become such a key part of the modern game, and now PSG will be looking to stop Arsenal from hurting them in these situations.
